The season will kick off on Saturday 1st May with the Northern Ireland RL 9's, to be hosted at Belfast Harlequins RUFC. All players welcome - kit will be provided so just bring your boots!

Our first league match (see Fixture List 2010 page) was planned for Saturday 8th May, however the Sharks may receive a BYE for this round. This will mean the first game will be on Saturday 15th May, with the Sharks taking on the new Enniskillen RL outfit, during a Gala Day hosted by Belfast Bulldogs at Belfast City Council grounds @ Cherryvale, Ravenhill Road. Details will be confirmed over the next week and posted on the website.

Thanks, and see you soon, Gav

About the Sharks

"The Sharks" are North Down's only Rugby League team, and participated in the inaugural Northern Ireland Rugby League Conference in the summer of 2009. The 2010 season is just around the corner, so I hope to see a lot of old and new faces at training.

Our clubs aim is to provide summer training and rugby league (we call it "footy") games from May to July.

Click on the contacts page to get our numbers and email address.....then get your boots back on and get out onto the paddock!

The Strangford Sharks RFLC would like to extend it's gratitude to Cronulla Sharks RLFC (Sydney, Australia) and the NRL (National Rugby League, Australia) for their support and co-operation.
