The Strangford Sharks RLFC would also like to thank Donaghadee RUFC for their help and support - we now have a home! Thanks Jim, Harry, Besty & The Committee!
The club would like to annouce that Gareth Doherty ("Doc") will be joint coach of the Sharks for the 2009 season, working along side Gav Gordon. Doc has a long history with RL, and has represented Northern Ireland, Irish Students and also trialled with St. Helens in Super League. He was one of the original players to run out for the Bangor Vikings back in 1995. Please join me in congratulating Gareth on this appointment - he will be a valuable asset to our club going forward.
